Emily attended Nonsuch High School for Girls from the age of 11 to 18, where she studied for A-Levels in Drama, English Literature, Geography and German, as well as an Advanced Extension Award in English. Emily then achieved a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Drama from the University of Bristol, and has subsequently trained at both the Royal Academy of Music and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

When not tutoring

Emily is an actor and producer. She is a founding member of GEMA (Graduates’ Equality Movement for Actresses) which campaigns for equal gender representation within The Arts. GEMA also hosts a podcast interviewing actresses about their experience of the industry.
