Mathematics, Further Mathematics
Asuka was educated at Croham Hurst School, achieving six A grades at A-Level, and went on to read Mathematics at King’s College London, graduating top of her class. She continued her studies at the University of Cambridge, completing the famous Part III course in Pure Mathematics, and returned to King’s College London to obtain her PhD in Algebraic Number Theory. Asuka now teaches undergraduates at both King’s College and the London School of Economics, as well as taking part in outreach projects organised by King’s and the Royal Institution. She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
When not tutoring
Asuka has a great interest in music, performing regularly with her choir, and gives occasional flute recitals with her friends from Cambridge. She also enjoys ballet and can often be found in the studio after a day of teaching.
